This is a new and improved model, which we are launching in 2022. The main innovation are the added magnets on the shooting targets, which ensure better performance when used outdoors, even in windy conditions.

From the idea to the final product, this toy is a 100% Czech product, which was created in close cooperation with the Czech Biathlon Association.
The targets are made in our factory from wood, paper, and recycled material, making them very environmentally friendly.

About the manufacturer
A group of three designers, namely Daniel Rűcka, Kristýna Vohradníková and František Havránek, is behind the Biathlon Home Edition game. The original idea, however, came from their grandfather, who made the first prototype for his grandchildren.
The designers claim that because their job largely consists of sitting behind a computer, they like to play sports in their spare time to make up for it.
On top of that, what brings them joy is making something that is useful and makes the people around them happy.
They were inspired to make this toy after using the very first prototype of the target in a meeting room of their company to relax after demanding days at work.
Then came the spring of 2020 and with it the first wave of coronavirus, quarantine, home office. This was the main motivation to give the idea some real outlines.
The fact that it is a Czech toy is very important to the designers as they wanted to support the work of skillful hands of Czech manufacturers, rather than importing all the material across half the globe. Therefore, they partnered with the PETROF company and entrusted the production of the toy to those who work with the highest quality wood.
