This exclusive chess set was designed by Mr. Ivan Vaculík, who also designed a number of unique pianos from our Special Collection.

Materials used
The chess pieces are made of the same first-class materials as our grand and upright pianos. The black pieces are from walnut wood, the white pieces are from maple wood.
The inlaid chessboard is made up of a combination of the so-called inoculated maple wood and walnut spice wood.
The surface of the chessboard as well as the surface of the pieces was finished with natural oil.
The surface finish of the base is in high gloss, the same finish as for our grand and upright pianos.
Dimensions of the chessboard (width, length, height): 50 x 50 x 8 cm.
King’s height: 8.5 cm.
