The candles are hand crafted in Prague and the whole process is carried out with the utmost care and precision to ensure the uniqueness and quality of the product. Each candle is made of eco-soy wax, which leaves no traces on the sides of the candle when burning.
The natural Egyptian cotton wicks guarantee excellent burning quality, they are hand-centered and do not leave black traces on the wax. The hand-blown waffle glass comes from a Bohemian glassworks with a century-old tradition. When the candle is lit, this pattern creates magical reflections. The colors of the glass are sensitively selected to match the scent of the candle. Each cup is a small work of art, making it a tasteful addition to your interior even after the candle burns out.
We took extra care in the selection of fragrances so that they complement one another and at the same time connect with each other in a way that tells a story. We have chosen an elegant combination of woody, spicy and earthy tones that evoke classiness and luxury. The individual fragrances were developed in a French perfumery with a long craft tradition.
BLACK MADONNA – the scent of frankincense highlighted by spicy cinnamon bark. Fresh pines in the heart of the scent are accompanied by a warm touch of amber. A fragrance as elegant as a beautiful grand piano in black and high gloss.
OPULENT MAHOGANY – rare mahogany, delicate earth tones of birch and sweet cloves will create a wonderful atmosphere of moments spent by a wood crackling fireplace. A scent that will perfectly complement the romantic tones of the piano.
MYSTIC CASHMERE – a scent evoking a touch of soft cashmere combined with exotic cinnamon, nutmeg and a subtle accent of elderberry. This fragrance symbolizes the soft, gentle and round tone of PETROF pianos.
The paper packaging was made in the Czech Republic from recyclable material and its interior is decorated with a piano notation for Humoresque by Antonín Dvořák.

The Meadows brand concept is based on reviving traditions whilst creating new stories. Behind the Meadows company is Mrs. Vladimíra Fremuthová, who more than 10 years ago discovered a century-old form in a small Czech glassworks and produced the first few pieces.
Today, the company supplies hand-crafted candles to a wide range of hotels and creates special gift editions for companies and state visitors. The gift set of candles was given as a wedding gift to Prince Harry with Duchess Meghan and the First Lady of France Brigitte Macron. The Meadows company impressed us with its similarity to PETROF: both brands pay attention to tradition, precision and the careful selection of hand-crafted materials from Europe, all while maintaining premium quality of the product.
