The resonator works without any cables or batteries, thus reducing the risk of damage.
Simply insert a mobile phone into the hole of the speaker and the sound will naturally amplify thanks to the resonant wood used.
Due to the universal size of the speaker, it can be used for various brands and types of mobile phones.
Dimensions: 7.5 x 25.5 x 6.7 cm
The resonator is made of the same material from which we also make resonant soundboards for pianos, i.e., resonant spruce, whose wood is characterized by the ability to amplify sound without any distortion.
In order for this spruce wood to become a soundboard, the heart of the instrument itself, it must meet the strictest quality criteria.
Resonant wood is obtained by harvesting spruce trees growing at an altitude of 600 – 1200 meters in the Czech Republic and Slovakia (in the Alps up to 1900 meters above sea level), only on the northern slopes and exclusively in the central parts of the forest.
Only such conditions presuppose that the so-called resonant timber with regular annual tree rings can be obtained from the tree.
These annual tree rings must be very dense – their mutual distance must not exceed 0.25 centimeters. However, even after careful selection, a maximum of 10% of the material can be used from the above spruce.
We finish the resonators with the same polyurethane varnish, which is used for piano soundboards.
